NetWaiting
NetWaiting is a feature available in software that allows you to receive calls (hear a ring thru) while you are connected online via the modem. Without this feature, callers to your number will get a busy signal just like if you were on another phone call. It is not mandatory to use the NetWaiting software in order to use the CX modem. However, to take advantage of the NetWaiting feature, you will have to make sure that your phone company provider can supply you with Caller ID AND Call Waiting services.
